You will have two whale watching cruises in the sea of Mirissa for Blue and Sperm Whales, two safari drives in Udawalawe National Park for Elephants, five safari drives in Yala National Park for Leopards and Sloth bears.
The seas of Sri Lanka may be the best place in the world for seeing the elusive Blue Whale. For seeing both Blue Whales and Sperm Whales together, it is almost certainly the best place in the world.
The largest concentration of Asian Elephants occurs during ‘The Gathering,’ a seasonal event which takes place at Minneriya National Park during August and September. In other parks, elephant watching is good throughout the year.
